My 1 month old Myspace Support website is now at a steady 3,300 unique visitors per day, which is a leap of almost 1,000 uniques over a couple of days. I have noticed that Google has it’s major updates and shuffles every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) so this time of the week is now my favourite when it comes to SEO and working online. I love watching my ranks and working to get higher and better, it’s such a great challenge and i enjoy it alot.
I’m not happy with 3k though, why settle for less when i can do so much more? I will keep pressing on and push my traffic as high as i possibly can with this website. I’m working on some really good keywords, which i hope to get to page one for soon (not so much hope, but, i will…) - always good to believe in yourself.
I’ve also started work on my VampireFreaks Support website. Time to get it back online after it being down for months since the attack. This should be ready to roll in the next week, and then i guess i’ll go get my top ranks back for those VampireFreaks keywords.
This is an awesome live video of Kelly Clarkson performing her hit song Since U Been Gone live at the Brit Awards 2006. The video quality is not too good, but it’s good enough to see and hear her, and enjoy her completely awesomeness. Her voice is simply amazing.

Since my last post about being on 500 uniques a day and being, what, fifth in google for my first targeted keyword tiny myspace layouts? This is with my new Myspace Support website of course… Well i have some fantastic updates to let you all in on, check this out:
That’s not all. There are many other keywords, along with variations of the above keywords that i’m ranked pretty well for and it’s not going to stop here… I intend to keep climbing for them all, along with hitting the first page for some new ones soon. Considering i started this website on the 21st November, i think i’ve done fantastic - we are now over 2,000 uniques a day, with most of our traffic from google, but now that we’re getting more traffic, i’m seeing more and more traffic coming from myspace profiles also (shows people are using our stuff!).
Most of you probably know that keyword research plays an important roll in our web developing lives. One of my favorite things to do online is research in general actually - i love reading, learning new things and discovering new aspects of the game (so to speak). It doesn’t matter who you are, we all have things we can learn, and most of us learn and pick up on new things each and every day.
Anyway, back on topic…
Keyword Research is great for looking into possible niches to drive into and set up camp… When i say that, i mean developing websites/affiliate landing pages etc of course. I used to use DigitalPoint’s keyword suggestion tool but that’s gone down the shitter (english saying…) so now i use a fantastic tool by Trellian, which can be found here. I use this tool on a daily and almost hourly basis if i’m honest, it’s very, very useful and i’ve ‘discovered’ at least a handful of niches with high search volume and very low competition that i will be ’setting up my camp’ in - all in good time though.
I’m now fifth for my first targeted keyword (Tiny Myspace Layouts) - moving up slowly, but surely. I’ve also been working to get up there for many variations of this keyword that also get traffic, and also the sister keyword Skinny Myspace Layouts and her variations.
Won’t be long now mateys. Traffic is rising slowly too, currently at 500 uniques a day (9,000+ impressions per day, good right? according to adsense anyway! Haha!)… In a few months time i’ll be back into the high thousands (where i was with MyRawr, before it was stolen from me by an asshole). This is just the start of a long road ahead, but, as they say, hard work DOES pay off and i love it, i enjoy ever aspect of it and the competition makes me want it more (because i hate losing…)
Everybody who is in the website game knows that ranking for google and ranking for MSN are two completely different objectives when trying to get your piece of the pie, this being the search engine traffic pie of course. Most of us seem to be able to rank very easily in google but when it comes to MSN, it’s like a mystery, entering into dark water, or exiting our comfort zone if you will…
I found that making your targeted keyword bold helps to rank you better in MSN. If you are trying to target a keyword such as ‘Light Feathers’ then you’d have a piece of writing on your page including that keyword, without bold, and then again in bold… Heck you could even throw in an italics one too (haven’t tested this on it’s own to see if it works, so, feel free…).
Phobia is easily Breaking Benjamins finest album to date. Each and every song bringing a lush noise to your ears, i think we call it great music. This one will be living in your CD player for weeks, you won’t be taking it out for anything else, i’ve had mine in for months! Ben (lead singer) sings with such a smooth yet hard-edged voice that literally cuts into your ears with the greatest feeling when it comes to music. My favorite track from this album would have to be The Diary of Jane or Breath. Let me know what your favorite track is if you have the album, if not, i suggest you run along and get it right away… I’m serious, this stuff is too good to be missed.

Here is a very nice blue and white Tech/Internet styled free wordpress theme. This is my first wordpress theme so i hope you like it, and if you use it, i hope you enjoy it. The theme has a fluid width, meaning it stretches to fit nicely in all screen resolutions. It has 3 columns, perfect for lots of categories and ad integrations. After the posts, we have a beautiful footer which features the most recent posts, most recently visited and favorite links (all of which can be changed of course). As this is a free theme, we ask that you keep the links back to our websites in the footer, not too much for a beautiful theme is it? Thank you =).
It is thought that the nofollow tags don’t do a thing to prevent SPAM comments when it comes to wordpress, as they originally thought it would. Nofollow simply stops a link from being followed by the search engines such as google, but it does not stop a link from being visited so who cares? Nobody, that’s right, nobody at all cares. People will SPAM you whether or not you follow or nofollow the links in your blog comments.
Personally, i think that everybody should follow links, and why? Because if we want visitors to contribute with their thoughts and opinions, we need to make it worth-while for them and provide a small incentive for their time, and following their link deffinately makes a small contribution worth-while on their part. Also, we all need to share link juice, let’s not be greedy hey? Of course, if somebody makes a useless post with their link in it, then we should delete it because we know they just want a quick and easy backlink (SPAM), but if it’s constructive, related to your post and genuine then we should be happy and reward them with their link back, right? Yes.
